The way of architectural thinking has been evolving from the ancient time. Ancient Greek architecture obtained design inspiration from human scale as the space was functioned as a field of worship for human beings. From sixteenth century, architecture thinking has been experiencing an evolution of mechanization; the aesthetic prototypes of their design and movements had been affected by the pre-existing objects. The built form itself was regarded as a machine in the natural environment. With the development of technologies, architectural thinking transformed in terms of overall form, details and materiality. Architects and designers has been continuously challenging themselves on creating built forms that fulfil humans’ functional requirements as well as generating aesthetics prototypes. With the dominance of computer generation, contemporary architectural thinking emphasised on creativity of form making and materiality. Architects are still on a way of continuous exploration of relationship between functionality, nature environment and creative overall forms, materials and details.
